Run, Walk or Skip for the Children’s Heart Foundation at the Inagural “Show Your Heart Run” September 19
Whether a runner or a walker, all Las Vegans can show off their stride for a great cause at the inaugural “Show Your Heart Run” to benefit the Children’s Heart Foundation on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The event will take place at Kellogg Zaher Park (7901 W. Washington Ave. Las Vegas).
Participants can enjoy their choice of a 5K race or a 1.7 mile fun walk. Festivities begin at 6:30 a.m. with a warm up and announcements; the 5K run begins promptly at 7 a.m., with the 1.7 mile fun walk beginning immediately following the race start. 5K runner fees are $40 per person through Aug. 31 or $45 per person beginning Sept. 1 through the event. Walkers are $10 per person. All runners receive a custom medal, bib, and D-tag for timing. Packet pick-up is available on Friday, Sept. 18 from 3 – 6 p.m. at REI at Boca Park or prior to the race.

Children’s Heart Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of heart families, through emotional, educational and financial support to inspire a higher quality of life for all.
