Second Annual “OktoberFrightFest” Brings Beer and Brats, Bats and BOOze to Fremont Street Experience

Fremont Street Experience announces the ultimate Oktoberfest and Halloween combined street party with its second annual OktoberFrightFest, a month-long festival Sept. 29 thru Oct. 31.

The spook-tacular nightly fun and fantasy kicks off Wednesday, Sept. 29 and continues throughout “Oktober,” ending on Halloween, Sunday, Oct. 31.  Fremont Street Experience will transform itself into the ultimate adult playground with Oktoberfest and Halloween festivities, including Viva Vision light and sound shows themed to “Time Warp” and “Monster Mash,” Beer Gardens featuring seasonal Oktoberfest food & drink specials, a haunted house attraction inside Binion’s Gambling Hall & Hotel, a Fall Beer Festival at Golden Nugget, a Halloween parade, plus three free Halloween-themed stage shows.

“After the success of last year’s inaugural OktoberFrightFest, there was no question that Fremont Street Experience would bring the festival back to life for another year,” said Jeff Victor, President of Fremont Street Experience.  “This October’s month-long festival will turn downtown Las Vegas into a nighttime playground for local Las Vegans and visitors.  We are planning 33 nights of pure sensory overload, so get dressed up in costume, come down any night and join us as we take this celebration to a new level.”

Live Shows during OktoberFrightFest:

“Freakin’ Magic – Horror Hospital starring Kevin James”
creates bizarre and shocking scenes with some of the most horrifying illusions on the planet.  Kevin James has recently appeared on America’s Got Talent and the Tonight Show and has been on TV in 64 countries.  Last year at this time, Kevin was giving a special Command Performance at the White House for the First Family and 500 of their closest friends for Halloween.  This year, Kevin is stepping it up a notch, promising a show you will never forget.  His Horror Hospital illusions will push the envelope visually and keep the viewer guessing straight through the show.  “Freakin’ Magic – Horror Hospital starring Kevin James” is produced by FAME (Frank Alfter Magical Enterprises).  Don’t miss this chance to see daring illusions live on the 3rd Street Stage, Wednesdays through Sundays at 8:15 and 10:15 p.m.

“Frank & The Steins” is a live musical revue of classic Halloween songs.  The cast is comprised of hot ghouls and guys; singers, dancers and live musicians performing songs including “Psycho Killers,” “Spooky,” “Time Warp,” and “Ghostbusters,” that will make audiences dance, laugh, sing and scream. “Frank & The Steins” is produced by Face Productions and choreographed by Melden Steele.  “Frank & The Steins” will perform Thursdays-Mondays on the 1st Street Stage at 8:15, 9:15 and 10:15 p.m.

“Alice and Ozzy’s Frightmare”
draws equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a grandly theatrical brand of rock music designed to shock.  This tribute to Alice Cooper and Ozzy Osbourne is sure to bring the spirit of Halloween to life on stage.  Their performance includes a stage show that features smoke machines, a coffin, a guillotine and an electric chair.  “Alice and Ozzy’s Frightmare” will perform Tuesdays through Saturdays on the Main Street Stage at 9:15, 10:15 and 11:15 p.m.
