Sixth Annual Hats Off To Child Focus Mother’s Day Tea
This afternoon affair celebrates the special bond of mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and dear friends with a silent auction and raffle, entertainment for the littlest of ladies, mini makeovers for the teen set and headline entertainment by Zowie Bowie. A balloon draw showcasing the grand prize of mother/daughter matching pendants is compliments of event sponsor M.J. Christensen.
KVBC channel 3 evening news anchor Sue Manteris will once again serve as mistress of ceremonies and five special adoptive and/or foster mothers will be honored this year at the tea as winners of the “My Special Mom” contest, sponsored by Cox Communications.

EVENT INFO: Adult tickets are $55 per person for traditional tea fare and children are $35 per person for junior tea delights. As an added incentive for making reservations, a special mother/daughter ticket priced at $75 is available until April 24 (a $15 savings). Tables of ten people can also be purchased for $500.
