Smash Magazine Presents the All Mighty GWAR to Fremont Country Club on Nov. 18
Smash Magazine
prepares for an evening of musical mayhem as shock rockers GWAR return to the stage at Fremont Country Club for their North American Fall Tour on Saturday, Nov. 18. Supporting acts include Ghoul, He Is Legend, and U.S. Bastards

On Oct. 20, GWAR will release a new studio album entitled The Blood of Gods via Metal Blade Records. In support of the new album, the lords and masters will leave their artic slumber and return to the road to cause aural devastation across North America. Joining the chase will be Ghoul, Doyle (10/20 – 11/5), He Is Legend (11/7 – 12/10), and U.S. Bastards. The tour kicks off in Richmond, Virginia on Oct. 20 and runs through Dec. 10 in Detroit, Michigan.

“Humans, we are coming to tear your world apart with a live performance the likes of which has never been seen on this or any other planet. This album, The Blood of Gods, is the greatest thing since French toast. Just hearing these songs performed will result in an instant paroxysm of weeping, gnashing of teeth, and the uncontrollable voiding of your filthy bowels. Now, we are taking the whole show on the road, with the most spectacular, blood-drenched, gruesome, and terrifying rock concert of all time. Don’t miss your chance to sacrifice yourself to GWAR at a venue near you,” says lead singer The Berserker Blothar.

The Blood of Gods is nothing less than a sacred text chronicling the rise of humanity against their makers, and the massive battle between GWAR and the forces of all that is uptight and wrong with the world. Along the way, the band challenged the sins of their great mistake, from politics, pollution, and organized religion, to fast food and factory farming. Meanwhile, Sleazy P. Martini, the crooked entrepreneur who discovered the band, and has always envisioned them as a sort of horrific boy band, finally managed to convince the group to write a hit song titled “I’ll Be Your Monster.”

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 day of show as well as the Lords and Masters VIP Experience is also available for guests to purchase. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Aug. 18 at 7 a.m. and can be purchased at www.smashmagazine.com or www.ticketfly.com. Guests must be 18 years or older, with valid ID.

Fans get the chance to pledge their allegiance to the band when they purchase the Lords and Masters VIP Experience. The package includes one general admission ticket with early entry into the venue, exclusive access to the GWAR sound check, an invitation to play a GWAR instrument onstage at sound check, a tour of weapons of the Lords and Masters, crowd-free merchandise access, one signed souvenir item, one souvenir laminate, and a photo opportunity with the band before the show. The VIP experience also includes the privilege of getting “killed” onstage by the band during the show. To purchase VIP tickets or for more information, visit www.gwarvip.com.
