Smashburger Opens Third Las Vegas Location July 21

Smashburger, a fast-casual “better burger” restaurant will open its third Las Vegas location on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. The restaurant will open at 5655 Centennial Center Blvd. and will continue Smashburger’s mission to become the city’s favorite place for burgers. This is the third location to open in Las Vegas under SB Las Vegas LLC; the first two Smashburger locations are located at 7541 W. Mead Blvd. and 9109 W. Sahara Ave. All locations are open from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

“Smashburger has had a great reception in the Las Vegas community and people are constantly asking when a location will open near them.” says Smashburger Founder Tom Ryan. “We’re thrilled our franchise partners are meeting those requests through their commitment to expansion in the Las Vegas market.”

The new location will also feature the popular Las Vegas regional menu items including the Sin City Smashburger, the All Nighter Salad and the Caramel Häagen-Dazs shake.

The Sin City Smashburger starts with a one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent Certified Angus Beef, fried egg, applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, grilled onions, haystack onions and smash sauce on an artisan egg bun. The All Nighter salad begins with a crisp romaine and iceberg lettuce and is topped with chopped applewood smoked bacon, fried eggs, guacamole, fresh diced tomatoes, haystack onions, and cheddar cheese, with buttermilk ranch dressing.

“We’re very excited to continue expanding throughout the city and there are still more locations to be announced,” says Kim Gunderson, vice president of marketing for SB Las Vegas LLC.

Named for the cooking method used to create the perfect burger, Smashburgers are a one-third or half-pound ball of 100-percent—fresh, not frozen, Certified Angus Beef smashed on a flat grill to sear in the juicy flavor. To further the “better burger” experience, Smashburgers are served on a toasted artisan bun and topped with a selection of flavorful cheeses, the freshest produce and top-quality condiments.

Smashburger is known for its savory burgers, but the restaurant also serves up delicious Smashchicken sandwiches, Smashdogs, and Smashsalads, with sides like veggie frites and rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries. Burger lovers can pair their meals with beer, wine, Häagen-Dazs shakes and root-beer floats.
