Smashburger Partners with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to Start the New Year Off Right

Nationally acclaimed industry-leading “better burger” restaurant Smashburger is starting the year off right by supporting the local chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). For every “better burger” lover who purchases a Sin City Smashburger or Sin City Smashchicken sandwich throughout the entire month of January, Smashburger will donate one dollar to JDRF to help fund research and advancements in the management and eventual cure of type 1 diabetes.

The Sin City Smashburger starts with a ball of 100-percent Certified Angus Beef topped with a fried egg, applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, grilled onions, haystack onions and smash sauce on an artisan egg bun. Guests can also order the Sin City burger as a Smashchicken sandwich.

Smashburger is known for its savory burgers, but the restaurant also serves up delicious Smashchicken sandwiches, Smashdogs and Smashsalads, with sides like veggie frites and rosemary and garlic–seasoned Smashfries. Burger lovers can pair their meals with Häagen-Dazs shakes and root-beer floats.

“We are pleased to partner with Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to create awareness about this disease and help generate funds to further the JDRF mission,” says Smashburger Founder Tom Ryan.

“It’s so important to give back to the community,” says Kim Gunderson, vice president of marketing for SB Las Vegas LLC. “This is our way to help spread awareness and begin donations at the start of a new year!”

Smashburger is open daily from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. For a list of locations, please visit www.smashburger.com.
