Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group Returns to the Las Vegas Strip with All-New Location Set to Debut Spring 2019

The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, Inc. (SWRG), a collection of iconic American steakhouses headquartered in Boston, is thrilled to announce its return to the Las Vegas Strip with an all-new Smith & Wollensky Las Vegas restaurant. Set to debut spring 2019, the highly-anticipated “America’s Steakhouse” branded restaurant will soon call the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas home.

“We would like to thank all of our loyal guests who have been patient with us the past year while we searched for a new home in Las Vegas. We are excited to share that we found the perfect location inside the Grand Canal Shoppes,” said Michael Feighery, CEO & President of Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group. “It was important for us to join a likeminded brand to debut the next generation of Smith & Wollensky and with that we will be able to offer a memorable destination for conventioneers and tourists, and a go-to favorite for locals and industry professionals alike. We look forward to reliving old memories and creating new ones with you soon!”

An impressive space spanning over 14,000 square-feet and two-stories tall, Smith & Wollensky Las Vegas will showcase its eclectic interior and overlook the celebrated indoor Grand Canals at The Venetian, inside the popular shopping and dining destination, Grand Canal Shoppes. Located near the South Canal turnaround, guests will soon be able to indulge in Smith & Wollensky’s dry-aged and hand-butchered USDA Prime steaks, premium seafood and award-winning wines on a regular basis, yet again.

Celebrating 40 years as America’s classic steakhouse, the original Smith & Wollensky location opened in 1977 in New York City and has since become an institution known for its American hospitality and New-York style swagger. The time-honored steakhouse brand has expanded to 10 locations across the top cities in America, including Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Houston, London and Miami Beach, and most recently a suburban adaptation of the brand in Wellesley, MA just outside of Boston.
