Sneak a Peek Inside Greek Sneek, Opening Early Fall at MGM Grand in Las Vegas
Michael Morton and Jenna Morton
will introduce Greek Sneek, a festive restaurant and bar serving fresh, authentic Mediterranean cuisine and cocktails at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino early this fall (Pictured: Steak and Chicken Pitas)

“Mediterranean cuisine has always been a personal favorite,” said Michael, co-owner of Morton Group along with his wife, Jenna. “Plus, dining like the Greek means having a great time while gathering with family and friends – which is something that fits right into Morton Group’s offerings.”

Accessible via a hidden entrance next to CRUSH, the 2,000-square-foot restaurant will accommodate up to 100 guests. The menu, by Morton Group Corporate Executive Chef William DeMarco, will offer traditional Mediterranean cuisine as share plates, flatbreads and entrees. Highlights include Greek ‘chips,’ traditional crispy zucchini and eggplant chips served with tzatziki, priced at $14; lamb meatball flatbread topped with tomatoes and tzatziki, priced at $19; crab cake, with mint yogurt puree, tomatoes, green peppers, olives and capers, priced at $17; shaved pita sandwiches, with choice of chicken, lamb, or steak, accompanied by tzatziki, tomatoes and red onion, priced at $17, $19 or $21, respectively;  and shrimp kabobs, a Mediterranean-spiced marinated shrimp skewer served with cucumber and mint couscous, priced at $26. Many of Greek Sneek’s selections will be prepared in a woodfired oven.

There will be plenty to yell “Opa!” about with an array of Greek wines, beers and spirits, an Ouzo menu and Greek cocktails inspired by native fruits and flavors.

Greek Sneek will serve authentic Mediterranean cuisine created by Morton Group’s corporate executive chef, William DeMarco. Greek Sneek will be open from 5 to 11 p.m., daily. More information and reservations will soon be available by calling 702-891-3228 and on the website at www.GreekSneek.comFacebook.com/GreekSneek, Twitter @GreekSneek and Instagram @GreekSneek.

The other restaurants in Morton Group’s portfolio include La Cave Wine and Food Hideaway at Wynn Las Vegas, which opened in December 2010; La Comida, located in the burgeoning East Fremont District of Downtown Las Vegas, which opened in May 2013; CRUSH, serving contemporary American cuisine at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, which opened in December 2013; and MB Steak, a steakhouse by Michael Morton and his brother, David Morton, in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, which opened in May 2017.
