Tacos & Tequlia Unleashes “Viva T&T” in Celebration Of Mexican Independence Day

In celebration of Mexican Independence Day, Tacos & Tequila (T&T) will launch the worldwide premiere of “Viva T&T” Wednesday, September 15 (Photo Credit: Brian Brown Photography). 

The wacky rendition of Elvis Presley’s “Viva Las Vegas” will showcase an entertaining routine choreographed to DJ Ernan’s mariachi mash-up, starring Sin City’s most unique trio – a mini Mariachi Elvis, the extremely sexy Elissa cast as a modern-day Ann-Margret and the one-and-only human rooster.

In addition, those who dress to impress in their best Elvis costume will receive a complimentary daiquiri from T&T on September 15. The best Elvis impersonator will be crowned king, taking home the “Mr. VIVA Elvis” title and $1,000 in cash and prizes.

As part of T&T’s Mischieve Wednesdays, “Viva T&T” will take partygoers beyond belief as the unlikely-threesome performs a fun number from the hit film every Wednesday night starting at 8 p.m. Following the hourly performances, Mariachi Elvis will join T&T’s never-ending fiesta with DJ Ernan on the beats and the sexy emcee Elissa on the mic. Revelers are encouraged to take on the head human rooster in a live “Cock-A-Doodle Duel” competition, along with $5 margaritas, Tecate beers and shots of Hornitos tequila.

“Our Mariachi Elvis is so fantastic he’ll steal the show,” said owner Michael Frey, “Although it wouldn’t be complete without Elissa and the rooster. “It’s ‘Viva Las Vegas’ for the Twitter generation – something so out there, you’ll just have to see it to believe it.”
