The 7th Annual Pirate Fest will take over Craig Ranch Park on April 27 & 28. Pirate Fest is a fun, family festival including Pirates, Steampunk, Mermaid, Renaissance and Faerie characters, and includes live entertainment, food, games, and a beer garden.
Kids will enjoy following a Treasure Map to complete tasks and activities such as, make a rope; walk the plank, swab the deck, hoist the sails, get a pirate name, even make an eye patch or a fairy wand! Complete the map, receive a Letter of Marque, collect pirate booty and become an “Official Pirate”.

For experienced “of age” pirates, a whiskey tasting is available with proceeds benefiting the non-profit, Paradise Ranch Foundation, who provide Horse Assisted Therapy (HAT) to children with special needs and veterans. Master mixologist and Guinness World Book of Record Holder, Bobby Gleason of Bean/Suntory shares his vast knowledge as you sample of some of the finest whiskeys, and rum!
In the Kid’s Cove, see the Pirate Puppet Show. It is presented by Las Vegas Family Puppet Theater Co. Watch the puppets as they present the “Legend of the Pirates” to find out how the Pirates ended up here in the desert! Visit the Mermaid pod. You might even see the mermaids swimming in their tank!
Pirate Fest now offers themed weddings. Pirates, mermaids, steampunk, rennies, even faeries can get married or choose to renew their vows at Pirate Fest by contacting weddings@piratefestlv.com.
