The Animal Foundation to Open New Adoption Center to the Public Feb. 12
The Animal Foundation
will recognize a major milestone in its mission to save all healthy and treatable animals in the Las Vegas Valley by the end of the year 2020 when it opens the new Engelstad Foundation Adoption Center on Tuesday, February 12, at 11am.

Part of an aggressive five-year campaign known as Mission: Possible 2020, the new Engelstad Foundation Adoption Center now provides a permanent facility with safe and comfortable housing for cats and other small animals, as well as administration offices and community education facilities.

A complete renovation of the 15-year-old Lied Animal Shelter, still underway, will provide hospital-grade longer-term animal housing, improved isolation areas for the sick, and more comprehensive veterinary care with an expanded and upgraded clinic. When fully complete, the new and improved facilities will allow The Animal Foundation to increase its capacity to save more lives in a humane and healthy way.
