The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) of Las Vegas to Host 2nd Annual Scherr Madness Golf Tournament Oct. 19

The 2nd Annual Scherr Madness Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, October 19 from 8am-2pm at Red Rock Country Club’s Arroyo Course. There will be breakfast, golfing, raffle prizes, an awards luncheon, specialty drinks and more!

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) of Las Vegas is hosting the 2nd Annual Scherr Madness Golf Tournament. They are a national organization that raises money and awareness for IBD to support patients right here in our community. One of the ways they raise these life-saving funds is through special events such as wine tastings, galas and golf tournaments.

Last year CCFA Las Vegas co-hosted the Inaugural Scherr Madness Golf Tournament with Drs. Scott and Rebecca Scherr. Scott and Rebecca have both been affected by IBD, as Scott had colitis prior to surgery, and Rebecca is a Pediatric GI Physician. Together they have decided to do this event each year to continue supporting our youngest patients in Southern Nevada. Their inaugural event was able to raise over $15,000 to fund pediatric research and Camp Oasis- the only camp for children and teens with Crohn’s and Colitis. The event was so well received that CCFA has decided to do the golf tournament again this year!

Please consider supporting this event through raffle, auction, and/or by participating in the tournament. CCFA is currently working with local businesses and individuals, to bring their guests some of the best Las Vegas has to offer in art, entertainment, fitness, dining and travel. The raffle tickets range from $20- $200.
