The MINT Tavern Revitalizes Vintage Vegas and Celebrates Official Opening with Kick-Off Party
The MINT Tavern, a classic Las Vegas lounge featuring time-honored libations, a variety of live entertainment and 24-hour gaming, all centered around a cool and relaxed vibe, celebrated its official grand opening on Thursday, March 1, 2018. The local-friendly spot is conveniently located in the heart of Sin City and serves as the solution for those who are looking to enjoy a night out, but don’t want to go to a club or lobby bar.
Todd Worz, nightlife mogul, and Jonathan Fine, owner of FINE Entertainment, conceptualized the space based on their mutual appreciation for the roots of Las Vegas, blending classic hospitality with a progressive tavern experience. With the goal of bringing back Frank Sinatra-era class and service, The MINT Tavern pays historical tribute to Las Vegas through namesake revitalization of a celebrated classic hotel and a location that’s a few doors down from the oldest operating steakhouse in town, Golden Steer.

“We meticulously designed both the sign and the space to create an inviting and comfortable lounge that’s both lived in, yet refined,” said Todd Worz, partner of The MINT Tavern. “Inside, guests will find carefully-curated artwork and a thought-provoking drink menu. We want guests to have the feeling that The MINT Tavern has been around for a while, but that they’re still kept on their toes with regularly changing entertainment.”
Currently, The MINT Tavern features free weekly swing dancing lessons on Fridays from 7:30 – 9 p.m. and will also have a rotation of other entertainment such as a pianist and vocalist, a three-piece band, an acoustic guitarist, comedy shows and big bands. The name is inspired by The Mint Las Vegas, which originally opened its doors as a hotel and casino in downtown Las Vegas in 1957.
