The Platters Featuring the Legendary Monroe Powell Headline Embassy Theatre Sept. 14-19

The Platters featuring the Legendary Monroe Powell will headline the Embassy Theatre at the Las Vegas Rocks Café Tuesday, Sept. 14 – Sunday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. The Las Vegas Rocks Café continuously presents to you the history of Las Vegas and in doing so is proud to present Monroe Powell of the Platters. Tickets are $34.95 plus tax.

For more than 40 years, the legendary Monroe Powell has been a recording and touring singer with acclaimed groups: first with The Dominos in the 1950s, The Ink Spots in the 1960s, and then with The Platters when Buck Ram hired him as lead singer in 1970.

For one week, Tony Sacca will be working the San Gennaro Feast at the Silverton and his 7:30 p.m. Tony Sacca’s “Vegas The Show” with comic impressionist Tom Wallek and “Vegas The Show-Girls” will go dark, Sept. 15, 16, 17 and 18.

In addition, “The Ultimate Tribute Show” starring singer – impressionist, Tom Stevens at 7 p.m. will also go dark, Tuesday, September 14.
