The expansion has more than doubled the size of the existing Touro Health Center and is now also home to new community and campus amenities including an Active Aging Center, Michael Harter Senior Active Center featuring community classrooms and expanded Student Health Center.

The expansion allows Touro to accommodate the increase in patient visits throughout the year by hiring additional physicians and skilled staff. Patients will now be able to take advantage of multi-disciplinary specialists including physical therapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, podiatry and social work, within the expanded Health Center and Active Aging Center, providing the convenience of addressing various healthcare needs in one facility instead of having to travel to multiple locations around the community.
