Touro University Nevada hosting “Season of Lights” event to benefit Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities

Touro University Nevada (TUN) will host a “Season of Lights” luncheon and silent auction at the Nevada State Museum. All proceeds will benefit families who utilize diagnostic and treatment services of the Touro Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities and cannot afford services.

For many families a diagnosis of Autism can be life-altering and come with considerable costs for services.

Attendees will enjoy a delicious lunch as they support the current and future families of The Center while taking in the breathtaking view of the Las Vegas valley and Springs Preserve. A silent auction featuring a collection of artwork, jewelry and dinner/show packages will also be a part of the event. Entertainment will be provided by Teresa Joy, who together with her father – Billboard chart-topping guitarist Esteban – recently performed at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts.

The Touro Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities opened in 2008 as a state-of-the-art facility designed with the special needs of children with developmental disabilities in mind. The facility offers multiple evidence-based therapy services for children 18 months to 12 years; as well as diagnostic neuropsychological evaluations for children 18 months to 17 years. The Center at TUN is the only multi-specialty facility providing treatment and diagnostic services for Autism in the state of Nevada and provides an outstanding team of fully-accredited/ licensed and caring professionals.
