Tropical Smoothie Cafe Opens New Location in North Las Vegas

Tropical Smoothie Café celebrated the opening of its 21st Las Vegas Valley location. On Monday, December 17 at 12:15 p.m., a ribbon cutting officially opened a North Las Vegas store, located at 445 W. Craig Rd., #103 (at Commerce). Photos credit: Gabe Ginsberg / VegasKool. 

The 1,750 square foot location employs approximately 15 team members, will offer catering, online ordering and a drive-thru.

The new North Las Vegas location is running a contest specifically for North Las Vegas schools from the opening on December 17 through December 21. The North Las Vegas elementary, junior and high schools having the most students visit the Café during the week will each win $500 in cash donations. When placing their order, students let the cashier know what school they represent.

“It is great to have opened a location in North Las Vegas and to partner again with Kriss and Michelle Shriver who operate two other stores in Henderson and Las Vegas,” said Dina Mitchell, Tropical Smoothie Café Area Developer and Marketing Director for Nevada.

“Tropical Smoothie Café is a unique brand with a fresh and flavorful menu, which is what attracted us to the business,” said the Shriver’s. “We’re excited to be able to serve our community an ‘Eat Better, Feel Better’ meal in a great tropical atmosphere. We also look forward to becoming a community partner in North Las Vegas.”

Mitchell brought Tropical Smoothie Café to Southern Nevada in 2001, opening the first store in Henderson in 2001, which was also the company’s 24th location in the nation. The top-selling store within the entire company is located at Flamingo and I-215.
