The check presentation took place at the organization’s main office. This grant is part of UnitedHealthcare’s ongoing efforts to identify and support organizations in Nevada that help families, young parents and children live healthier lives.

Many members of Medicaid Expansion families that HELP of Southern Nevada assists suffer from chronic diseases, which require home care. If these individuals do not have a home, they most likely do not get medical help. UnitedHealthcare’s donation will enable HELP to offer more health care options for the people it serves.

According to America’s Health Rankings, Nevada ranks 39th among all 50 states in the overall health of its population.
