Via Brasil Steakhouse Celebrates National Pork Month
October
is National Pork Month, and independently owned churrascaria Via Brasil Steakhouse has a pork special that will make guests go hog-wild (Photo credit: Via Brasil Steakhouse)

Beginning Friday, Oct. 2, and lasting throughout the month, the restaurant will be serving freshly-sliced portions from a whole pig leg alongside its usual tableside rodizio offerings during dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.

“Pork is one of my father’s favorite meats,” said Via Brasil Owner Adam Gomes. “He started Via Brasil in New York, and I thought that a beautiful presentation of pork leg would be a nice way to honor him and the tradition of National Pork Month.”

The addition of pork to the restaurant’s rodizio menus will bring the steakhouse’s “Sterling” dinner option to 22 top-quality meats. Other meats served on the all-you-can-eat Rodizio Sterling menu include porterhouse steak, filet mignon, Picanha (Brazilian top sirloin), grilled shrimp and leg of lamb. Via Brasil’s Rodizio Sterling menu is available for $49.99 per person. The restaurant’s Rodizio Prime option includes 15 varieties of meats, all-you-can-eat, for $39.99.
