Via Brasil Steakhouse Opens in Las Vegas
Via Brasil Steakhouse, an authentic Brazilian “Churrascaria,” is now open. An extension of the award-winning Via Brasil restaurant in New York City, Via Brasil Steakhouse offers the same exceptional cuisine and personalized service to Las Vegas.
With an interior inspired by Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach, the 9,200 sq. ft. restaurant features a large full-service bar, a private room with a projection screen for special functions and corporate events, two beautiful interior water walls and a floor to ceiling wine cellar showcasing the restaurant’s extensive selection.
“We are pleased to bring Via Brasil Steakhouse to Las Vegas and present a taste of Brazilian cuisine and culture to the many locals and tourists,” said Adam Gomes, co-owner of Via Brasil Steakhouse. “Guests will enjoy our impeccable service and energetic ambiance that provides a new twist on the dining experience; and, of course, our Caipirinhas.”
A traditional, authentic Brazilian “Churrascaria” (steakhouse), Via Brasil Steakhouse features a gourmet salad bar with an extensive array of hot and cold dishes, cold cuts, cheeses, assorted salads and sushi made fresh daily. Fourteen different kinds of meats, including “Picanha,” (Brazilian cut top sirloin), poultry and fish prepared on their custom-made “Churrasqueiras” (rotisseries) are carved tableside, as well as delicious appetizers and decadent desserts. A vegetarian option offering a wide selection from the salad bar is also available. An appetizer menu, serving portions of the more popular dining selections, is available at the bar.
In addition to its full-service bar, Via Brasil Steakhouse proudly serves the national Brazilian drink, the Caipirinha. Traditionally served with fresh limes, sugar and Cachaça (Brazilian rum), Caipirinhas can also be prepared with such fresh fruit as grape, kiwi, orange, passion fruit, raspberry and strawberry. Cachaça may be substituted with other rums, red wine, sake or vodka, and is also specially prepared tableside.
Located in Summerlin, Via Brasil Steakhouse is located at 1225 S. Fort Apache Road, Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89117 on the southwest corner of Charleston Boulevard and Fort Apache Road in the Fort Apache Commons shopping center. Open seven days a week, Via Brasil Steakhouse is open for lunch Monday through Friday starting at Noon and open until 10 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, with extended hours until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. Happy Hour food and beverage specials are offered Monday through Friday between 4 and 7 pm. Reservations are encouraged.
