Vocal Band Mosaic to Present Academic Scholarship to Local School

Mosaic, the six-man, instrument-free, vocal band recently crowned MTV’s Top Pop Group, will present a $3,000.00 scholarship to West Prep Academy, a local school the group has adopted, as part of their ongoing effort to make a difference in the lives of public school children in Las Vegas. Money for the Mosaic “Achieve Scholarship” was raised in July when the a cappella group performed two exclusive shows to benefit The Public Education Foundation, which administers a variety of scholarships to help local students pursue higher educational goals.

Mosaic blends elements of pop, funk, jazz, hip-hop and opera. The group performs regularly with comedian George Wallace at the Flamingo Las Vegas and was recently crowned MTV’s Top Pop Group. Joining together with The Public Education Foundation, Mosaic strives to engage and inspire students through the arts and the Foundation’s Artists 4 Kids program.
