Walker Furniture Holds Inaugural ‘Beds for Kids’ Event with Vegas Golden Knights
Vegas Golden Knights and Walker Furniture through their partnership held the first “Beds for Kids” event at City National Arena. This year 18 recipients were selected to receive new beds and their families were invited to a private two-hour skate party with Golden Knights personnel.

Spread The Word Nevada provided books for all the kids and Papa John’s Pizza donated pizza for the event. Other treats and goody bags were given out in addition to new mattresses provided by Walker Furniture.

Community partners Clark County Fire Department (CCFD), Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), Communities In Schools (CIS), and Las Vegas Rescue Mission (LVRM) helped identify children in the community who needed a bed.
