Walker Furniture to Host 63rd Birthday Celebration; Community Event Will Have Giveaways, Free Cake and Ice Cream, Music, Face Painting, Balloon Artist on May 12
Walker Furniture will host its 63rd birthday celebration with a special event for the community.
Family-owned Walker Furniture, known for its community involvement programs like Home For The Holidays and Help For Heroes, is holding a 63rd birthday party for the valley residents and visitors on Saturday, May 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Main Showroom on Martin Luther King Blvd.
There will be giveaways, free cake and ice cream, music, face painting, balloon artist and more.
Founded in 1955, Walker Furniture has served hundreds of thousands in Southern Nevada. Located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, the Walker Furniture campus is approximately 150,000 square feet. A second super store location is planned for the 215 Beltway and Sunset Road next to Ikea. Walker and its affiliates is Southern Nevada’s premiere choice in providing home furnishings and design services. In 1994, Walker developed the Home For The Holidays program furnishing hundreds of homes to families in need in the Las Vegas Valley.
