Located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Casa de Shenandoah has been Newton’s sanctuary for more than four decades. With lush landscaping, natural artesian ponds and waterfalls and towering oak trees, a trip through Casa de Shenandoah includes the rare opportunity to see Newton’s champion Arabian horses put through their paces and meet the Newton family’s exotic pets including “Boo” the capuchin monkey, “Charlie” the penguin, wallabies, peacocks and more.

The experience begins across the street from the estate at the Casa de Shenandoah Visitor Center, where guests will see a brief movie about Newton’s life and Casa de Shenandoah before boarding custom shuttles for a ride through the golden gates.

Once inside, guests will get an intimate glimpse of the life of the singer who has been synonymous with Las Vegas since he first took the stage as a teenager at the Fremont Hotel in 1959. The tour will show off his personal collection of rare automobiles including cars formerly owned by Johnny Cash and Steve McQueen and a lifetime of memorabilia including gifts from friends such as Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Jack Benny.

Additionally, guests can explore Newton’s rare Native American artifact collection, tour his private jet, and learn about Newton’s commitment to the armed forces with rare military keepsakes and never-before-seen letters to Newton from U.S. presidents on display. Afterwards, guests will be enchanted by Arabian horses in the well-equipped equestrian facilities, in addition to the variety of exotic animals that are members of the Newton Family.

Following the tour, guests can take home their own keepsakes from The Shops at Shenandoah, located inside the Visitor Center and featuring a collection of boutiques and iconic Wayne Newton merchandise. The shops include Wayne’s World, an assortment of Casa de Shenandoah and Newton t-shirts, souvenirs and memorabilia; Kat’s Korner, a chic ladies’ boutique named for Newton’s wife with stylish women’s apparel, jewelry and fragrances; Lauren’s Lair, an animal-themed children’s shop named for Newton’s youngest daughter, will feature plush toys and t-shirts for kids to take home their own Boo and Charlie; and the Opportunity Village Gift Shop, where 100 percent of proceeds go to support Opportunity Village, a local nonprofit serving adults with disabilities in the community.

Tours of Casa de Shenandoah are self-paced and can range from 90 minutes to four hours. Guests can choose from a variety of tour experiences, including upgrades which allow guests to step inside the Newton’s residence, filled with hidden rooms and passageways, rare collectibles, art and a priceless crystal pool table, or take a step back in time with an intimate guided tour of Newton’s childhood home. For the ultimate VIP experience, guests can even enjoy a meet-and-greet and guided tour with Mr. Las Vegas himself.
