White Star Line Officer of Titanic Reads to Local Students in Celebration of Nevada Reading Week
As part of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition’s partnership with Communities In Schools of Nevada (CIS), an artifact specialist portrayed a White Star Line Officer and read a Titanic-themed children’s book to students at Rex Bell Elementary in celebration of Nevada Reading Week (Pictured: Brittany McCoy and Mayra Pacheco of Communities in School pose with Matt Synder of Titanic The Artifact Exhibition)

In addition to the fun-filled event on Thursday, March 2, owner of Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, Premier Exhibitions, Inc. donated coloring books to students and $1,000 to CIS of Nevada as well as collected donations from visitors in the Exhibition’s gift shop throughout the week to benefit the nation’s leading dropout prevention organization.

Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition inside Luxor Hotel and Casino takes guests on an emotional journey through the life of the legendary ship. Along the way, visitors learn countless stories of heroism and humanity, paying tribute to the indomitable force of the human spirit in the face tragedy.
