World’s Largest Hot Dog Chain Serves Up Free Schnitzel in Honor of National Holiday Sat., Sept. 9; Goes Big for Oktoberfest with New Quarter-Pound Gourmet Sausages
Celebrating “National Wiener Schnitzel Day” like no other restaurant really could, Wienerschnitzel is offering a free Chicken Schnitzel sandwich with any purchase, to mark the September 9 national food holiday.
To receive the free sandwich, guests need to show a printed or digital coupon when ordering. The coupon can be downloaded online and presented at a local Wienerschnitzel.
In addition, Wienerschnitzel is adding gourmet Bratwursts and Italian Sausages to its menu for the first time, for a limited time in celebration of Oktoberfest. In honor of the famous holiday, known for serving-up thousands of grilled sausages, the national 331-restaurant chain will offer both gourmet sausages September 4 through October 29 at participating locations. According to the brand, both new offerings deliver the authentic taste visitors would experience at a traditional Oktoberfest celebration.
Wienerschnitzel Bratwurst is served traditional-style with grilled onions and mustard on a warm, brat bun while the Italian sausage is topped with peppers, onions and mustard.
