On Oct. 11, Wynn Las Vegas’ Executive Chef of Sinatra, Chef Theo Schoenegger, along with Frank Sinatra’s granddaughter, AJ Lambert, hosted lunch and story-telling for the students of Dean Petersen Elementary. Two third grade classrooms were chosen for the Wynn hosted event in acknowledgement of their perfect attendance.

The students dined in the school’s cafeteria on tables adorned with Wynn linens while being treated to pasta and meatballs cooked by Schoennegger and the Sinatra team. Following the festive meal Frank Sinatra’s granddaughter, AJ Lambert, read the inspirational children’s tale of Sinatra titled “Frankie Liked to Sing.” In support of Spread the Word Nevada, Wynn provided each child with their own copy of the story to take home.

Wynn Las Vegas has an extensive partnership with Dean Petersen Elementary School to help the school continue to accomplish great things in a traditionally underprivileged area of Las Vegas. In conjunction with Clark County School District’s “Reinventing Schools” initiative, Wynn has committed to provide support and coordinate services from other nonprofits to help the students at Petersen Elementary succeed in their education.
