City of Las Vegas provides Updated COVID Vaccination Information
Free COVID-19 vaccination appointments are available for those 65 and older and utility workers at two sites in the city of Las Vegas on Wednesday, Feb. 24 and Thursday, Feb. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day.
- To register for an appointment at Veteran’s Memorial Community Center, 101 N. Pavilion Center Drive, visit https://clvveteransmemorialvaccine.youcanbook.me.
- To register for an appointment at Centennial Hills Active Adult Center, 6601 N. Buffalo Drive, visit https://clvcentennialvaccine.youcanbook.me.
Each location will offer 300 doses each day provided by the Southern Nevada Health District.
“I am excited to bring the opportunity for vaccinations to the residents of Ward 6,” said Councilwoman Michele Fiore, whose ward is home to the Centennial Hills Active Adult Center. “I know that it has sometimes been difficult to secure an appointment due to limited vaccine supply, but these dosages being available in Ward 6 will be a blessing and convenience for many.”
Councilwoman Victoria Seaman’s Ward 2 is home to the Veterans Memorial Community Center.
“Many in Ward 2 and around the city have been patiently waiting to be vaccinated, and I look forward to additional sites like this one opening as more doses become available,” Councilwoman Seaman said. “If you or your loved ones are eligible please register to take advantage of this opportunity.”
Those interested in the vaccine must register online and should preprint a consent form to bring to their appointment. Participation is limited to persons age 65 or older and utility workers. The utility worker category includes those who are employed by providers of gas, power, water and sanitation services.
On the day of your appointment, please wear clothing that allows easy access to your upper arm. Please wear a face covering over your nose and mouth.
