Code Ninjas Summerlin Offers Harry Potter Themed Summer Camp
Code Ninjas Summerlin invites kids to embark in the magic and adventure of coding with a Harry Potter themed summer camp.
Starting today, through July 17, Code Ninjas hosts a magical afternoon for children ages 6-14 to enhance their knowledge in STEM through designing Harry Potter themed video games. With the help of coding professionals known as Code Senseis, kids, known as ninjas, will put their magic to the test and learn how to build video games using Harry Potter characters like Hermione or Professor Dumbledore.
The Code Ninjas facility, known as a dojo, will transform into Hogwarts with Harry Potter themed decorations. Children are encouraged to wear their wizard costumes.
There are two camps available; the AM camp from 8:30am-12pm and a PM camp from 12:30-4pm. Due to high popularity, seats are expected to fill up fast. Interested ninjas can register online. In addition to this fun themed camp, Code Ninjas offers summer camps through August 7 at both locations; Summerlin and Centennial Hills. At summer camp, children can discover their love for technology. Through hands-on learning, children learn how to code by building and designing their own video games with the help of games they love such as Minecraft and Roblox, storytelling and learning Javascript. At Code Ninjas, children can acquire valuable tech skills and make new friends in a fun and safe environment.
