Halloween in Las Vegas: Spooky Fun for All Ages
Looking for some spooktacular family fun this Halloween? There are plenty of Halloween events happening around the Las Vegas area that are perfect for ghouls and goblins of all ages!
From trunk-or-treat meetups and spooktacular costume parades, hay-rides, and corn mazes, check out these family-friendly Halloween events happening across the Las Vegas Valley this holiday weekend.
HallOVeen at The Magical Forest
When: Oct. 27-31, 5:30 PM
HallOVeen at the Magical Forest returns, welcoming boys and ghouls of all ages for a family-friendly Halloween experience benefitting Opportunity Village.
While the Forest sat dormant last year due to COVID-19, the haunted jungle ruins managed to take over the 2.5-acre theme park, beckoning spooky creatures of all shapes and sizes. For 2021, you’ll meet many of them as you walk through a cemetery surrounded by hundreds of spooktacularly decorated trees and jack-o-lanterns. Friendly witches and ghosts excitedly await your arrival!
All the more fun in costume, Forest-goers can also enjoy funtastic rides, nightly entertainment, trick-or-treat stations, and midway carnival games. There’s also gifts, goodies, and more at The Holiday Shoppe and our retail kiosk. Make a night of it and enjoy dinner with your family and one of our many food stations.
This year, admission to HallOVeen at the Magical Forest includes ALL the rides and access to the two mini-escape rooms. Tickets should be purchased online and in advance.
Rail Explorers Halloween Costume Rides
When: Now – Oct. 31 3:30, 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
Get festive this Halloween season by costuming up with family and close friends for a ride with Rail Explorers, the year-round, all-ages, outdoor-adventure attraction featuring brand new custom-built electric rail bikes fitted with the REX Propulsion System. Guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31 at 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Rail Explorers will host costume contests after every tour and winners will receive a Rail Explorers hat and will be entered into a drawing to win a free quad rail bike good for a tour on a future date. All tours are now eight miles, round trip and start and end at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City, Nevada with a 20-minute break at Railroad Pass rail-side picnic area.

Downtown Container Park: Halloween & Dia de los Muertos Celebration
When: Oct. 31, 3:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Keep calm and scare on! On All Hallows’ Eve, Container Park welcomes costumed kiddos for a special evening of trick-or-treating. Guests can go tenant-to-tenant for special gifts and candy from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. followed by a complimentary sunset screening on The Lawn of the hauntingly hilarious live-action classic Hocus Pocus. Celebrate Día de los Muertos a day early with special mariachi entertainment from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. provided by our neighbors, the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts.
The Container Park will also play the Halloween Disney classic Hocus Pocus from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Entry is free, costumes encouraged.

AREA 15: Trick-And-Treats
When: October 29, 12-5 p.m.
Get your Halloween spooks started early with a family-friendly Tricks-And-Treats adventure at AREA15 on Friday, October 29 from 12-5 p.m. Show off your best costumes and take a stroll through the entire venue for sweets, treats, and surprises at every stop.

Downtown Summerlin: Parade of Mischief
Downtown Summerlin, a development of The Howard Hughes Corporation located in the heart of the Summerlin master planned community, is pleased to announce the return of the Halloween parade “Parade of Mischief”, presented by SelectHealth and produced by BESTAgency, this October.
The frightfully fun, family-friendly parade will fill the streets of Downtown Summerlin with mischievous mayhem every Friday and Saturday night in October (Oct. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30) starting at 7 p.m. The event is free, open to the public and takes place along Park Centre Drive.
“Parade of Mischief was a fan favorite in 2019 and we are thrilled to welcome it back this year,” said Halee Mason, marketing director, Downtown Summerlin. “The parade will feature an all-star line-up of local youth including dancing zombies, ghosts, witches, wizards, wild creatures, a rockin’ dead skeleton band and more.”
Don’t miss the Dynamic Productions and Dance Dynamics presentation of“The Addams Family a New Musical”live on The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin Oct. 28 – 31. Town Square turns into Town SCARY on Halloween, and children of all ages are invited to trick-or-treat at participating stores and restaurants.Town SCARY is free and open to the public with tons of family fun! Children should bring their own bag or basket for trick-or-treating.
Springs Preserve: Haunted Harvest
When: Oct. 29-31, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Haunted Harvest is back! Return to the Springs Preserve for a spooktacular good time with the whole family. It’s everything you’ve been missing, including themed trick-or-treat stations, live entertainment, activities for all ages, street vendors serving up all kinds of tasty treats, and much more! There’s also new surprises around every corner for those willing to brave Boo!town, which is filled with ghostly characters lurking and more fun than you can shake a wand at!
Haunted Harvest is a safe and family-friendly outdoor event.* Attendance is limited and tickets are sold online only. This event is expected to sell out. Don’t wait—purchase your tickets now or be left in the dark!

The District at Green Valley Ranch hosts its annual Halloween Ghost Walk sponsored by Mix 94.1, Halloween day. Come dressed up and ready for an evening filled of trick-or-treating, costume contests, and spooktacular jams from our local DJ.Our participating retailers will be waiting for you with bowls full of candy so be sure to stop by every one of them! *Look for the storefront sign.

Pearson Community Center is hosting the Halloween Safe Night on October 31 from 5-8:30 PM. The event will include free carnival rides and games, trackless train, $1 haunted house, $1 laser tag, food, trunk or treat, and more.
When: Oct. 29 (4 p.m – 11 p.m.), Oct. 30 (12 p.m. – 11 p.m.), Oct. 31 (12 p.m.- 10 p.m.)
About an hour outside of Las Vegas, the Moapa Valley Corn Maze offers a variety of spooky family fun this Halloween weekend, including a day and haunted corn maze, zombie paintball, haunted hayride, concessions, petting zoo, and more.
