Raiders’ Owner Mark Davis Purchases $5.3 Million Condo in Summerlin

A report from realtor.com revealed that Mark Davis, owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, recently purchased a luxury condo in an upscale golf course development for $5.3 million.

Davis’ clubhouse tower condo is located at Summerlin’s Summit Club, the only fully private residential golf and lifestyle club community in Las Vegas.

Residents of this exclusive housing community can enjoy butler service, golf course access, restaurants, a spa, a movie theater, among many other amenities.

The Summit also offers residential services, which include grocery shopping, turn-down services, and in-home housekeeping. In 2019, the average price for a custom lot at the Summit was $3.8 million; the most expensive sale was $10 million.

In addition to the exuberant prices, the cost of a membership to the Summit Club is $200,000. The Summerlin community charges $39,000 for annual dues and $16,000 for homeowner association fees.

The condo will serve as Davis’ temporary residence as he awaits the completion of a home in Henderson’s hillside luxury community Ascaya. Last fall, Davis purchased a 6.34-acre lot for $6 million in the up-scale development, which is located closer to the Raiders’ headquarters.

Davis told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that he chose to live in the Henderson Hills as his permanent residence because he wanted to see Allegiant Stadium, home of the Raiders, from his property. He contracted luxury builder Blue Heron to design his home.

When Davis’ Ascaya mansion is finished, he will be in good company. KISS bassist, Gene Simmons, recently purchased a $10.8 million six-bedroom, 10,871 square foot home in the master planned community.

Davis, 66, has an estimated net worth of $500 million. He is the principal owner and managing general partner of the Las Vegas Raiders. He inherited the team in 2011 after the death of his father, Al Davis.

He moved the NFL team from Oakland to Las Vegas after the 2019 season. Last January, Davis purchased the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.

While Davis is waiting for construction to finish on a swanky new mansion, his new, multimillion-dollar condo in The Summit Club should be more than a suitable perch.
