Las Vegas Turns Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month — an internationally recognized health campaign to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure.

There are plenty of Las Vegas-based organizations and businesses honoring joining the fight against breast cancer, which affects about 1 in 8 women across the country and close to 10,000 people annually in Nevada alone according to the CDC.

Check out our list of local charitable events, as well as local businesses and organizations giving back to our community with donations, resources, and more this October.
