Youth To Enter Las Vegas ‘Discover The Fun Run, Walk, Roll’ Contest
The city of Las Vegas is putting on the “Discover the Fun Run, Walk, Roll” event for youth ages 5-18. This “many miles” challenge encourages children and their families to utilize city parks, get outside, and engage in healthy outdoor activities like walking, jogging, biking and roller skating. From February through May 2021, participants will log their miles to track their progress and be entered to win one of many prizes. Registration is $30 per youth; register at registration.lasvegasnevada.gov.
Participants and their families will celebrate their efforts with a final mile, entertainment and activities Saturday, May 22, at Lorenzi Park from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Lorenzi Park is located at 3333 W.
