Downtown Las Vegas Is Proving All The Headlines Wrong

While Las Vegas is getting headlines for slowing down, Downtown Las Vegas just had one of its busiest weeks yet.  The Fremont Street Experience pulsed with energy, hotter than any poker table, drawing everyone from WWE stars to pro athletes. The San Francisco 49ers were here to take on the Raiders, and they found the perfect pre-game place to fuel up.

Where do athletes tend to go in Las Vegas to fuel up?  You are right if you said, Barry’s Downtown Prime. That was the case for all of the running backs who got to indulge in their first meal at Barry’s. With Kyle Juszczyk and Christian McCaffery at the helm of the group, the guys got to enjoy the finest steaks and seafood, and even saved room for desserts. In between their entrees and those desserts, the players got to meet Circa CEO/Owner Derek Stevens. You know they had to chat about sports and especially their upcoming football season. After dinner, those same players were escorted to the kitchen by co-owner Marco Cicione to see where all that delicious food was made. A group photo had to be taken, and Barry’s staff loved seeing some of their favorite 49ers right there in the kitchen.

Circa Executive Richard Wilk was seen posing with the crew; unfortunately was celebrity Chef Barry Dakake was missing for the evening.  With all that happening, we heard all the quarterbacks were also seen dining at the exclusive Private Chef’s table, and it wasn’t their first time at the restaurant either.  The teams’ quarterbacks, Brock Purdy, Carter Bradley, Mac Jones, and Kurtis Rourke, were also seen chatting with Derek Stevens after dinner.  Photographed with the quarterbacks was Barry’s Downtown Prime General Manager, Freshta Soltero.

Barry’s red carpet has become a who’s who of famous faces, and on this night, it was famous CrossFit coach Josh Gallegos, co-owner of Dead Boys Fitness. He was accompanied by 17 of his closest friends for his bachelor party stay at Circa Las Vegas. Josh had some famous friends show up that everyone knew were there by all the commotion.  WWE Champ Seth Rollins had fans going crazy and shouting his name from the second floor, looking down. That’s not uncommon when Seth is around. Film producer Nate Moore, known for Black Panther and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, was part of the group as well.  We hear he will also be part of the Black Panther 3 producing team, but we are waiting to see how well Nate did on Survivor season 49, coming out this Fall.  Did Nate win it all?  Multi-platinum music producer and DJ, Valentino Khan, was in the group as well.

Right in our own backyard lie endless possibilities for entertainment, food, and celebrity spotting. We are always so enthralled with who we run into and what we can get into. You just never know in Las Vegas, but rest assured, we will always be on the lookout for the next big thing.
