It’s looking like Vegas will continue to set records this week, since the current forecast shows above-100-degree days through at least Wednesday of next week.
There’s also currently an NWS excessive heat warning in effect for the Las Vegas Valley. As always, it’s important to wear appropriate clothing, drink plenty of water, and avoid strenuous outdoor activity during the hottest parts of the day.
This has been a generally record-breaking summer for Las Vegas. On July 8, 2024, the city officially broke its all-time heat record with a reported temperature of 120 degrees at Harry Reid International Airport.
Although it’s currently fall, visitors and locals in Las Vegas will likely need to wait before they see temperatures drop below 100 degrees again. With that in mind, check out the VegasNews guide to the best pool party spots in Las Vegas so that you can continue beating the heat.
