Big Changes are Coming to The Rio’s Food and Drink Offerings

The Rio is currently in the midst of overhauling its food and beverage options, and major changes are coming to the vibrant casino and resort.

In just the past two months, The Rio Hotel & Casino announced a new tavern and bar space, teased a rainforest-themed lounge, and opened a new food hall that features some of the best chicken in Vegas.

Now, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the hotel and casino has officially re-opened its iconic Wine Cellar Tasting Room.

Along with tasting some extraordinary wine, the Wine Cellar Tasting Room will also be selling wine to guests and locals alike — both by the bottle and the case.

As you might have guessed, the The Rio Hotel & Casino is currently in the midst of a $350 million makeover, which includes the overhaul of the resort’s food and beverage options. All of this makes the casino one of the best options if you’re looking for a Las Vegas hotel off the strip.

Either way, the Wine Cellar Tasting Room will be open daily from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays. The stone cellar wine room is located in the eastern portion of the casino, down a winding staircase.
