Sammy Hagar to Join PT’s Weekly Virtual Happy Hour as Special Guest on Friday, April 10
Rock legend Sammy Hagar will be stopping by the new PT’s Virtual Happy Hour this Friday, which starts at 5 p.m. The new, weekly event is a place for Las Vegas locals and other friends to gather on Zoom for conversation, cocktails and connection with weekly party themes and cocktail demonstrations with recipes for drinks with made from common household ingredients.
To honor Hagar, PT’s will be bringing a “Weekend in Cabo” theme to the happy hour with participants dressed for a beach party and a tropical cocktail demonstration by cocktail ace, Jason Shullo, who will be demonstrating a cocktail made with Hagar’s Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum. The recipe, which will also be posted on PT’s Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/PTsEntertainmentGroup/ and Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/pts_entertainment_group/, is as follows:
Rum Collins
- 1½ oz rum – PT’s will be using Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum
- 2 oz soda water
- 1 oz lemon juice
- ⅔ oz simple syrup – make simple syrup at home by boiling half water/half sugar, and then cooling
- 1 lemon wedge
- Ice Cubes
- Fill a shaker with ice cubes and add all ingredients. Shake and strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
PT’s Virtual Happy Hour is held every Friday at 5 p.m. on Zoom at: https://zoom.us/j/749596847. Hagar’s Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, Santo Mezquila and Santo Tequila Blanco are available at grocery stores throughout Las Vegas, as well as through delivery by Lee’s Discount Liquor.
Awarded “Best Happy Hour” by the Las Vegas Weekly, PT’s Taverns, which include PT’s Pub, PT’s Gold, PT’s Ranch, PT’s Brewing Co., Sean Patrick’s, Sierra Gold and SG Bar, are a popular gathering spot for locals. All of PT’s 66 taverns throughout the state are closed per “stay at home” mandates by Governor Steve Sisolak.
