Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand Welcomes Guests to Its Multi-Million Dollar Revamp With Official Ribbon Cutting and Proclamation Ceremony

On Friday, March 6, Las Vegas’ top daylife destination Wet Republic Ultra Pool at MGM Grand Hotel & Casinokicked off the 2020 season with something new and something blue. 

The 54,500-square-foot poolside party mecca unveiled a multi-million dollar architectural and audio-visual revamp. Before opening doors, Hakkasan Group’s Executive Vice President, Derek Silberstein, was joined by Clark County Commissioner Lawrence Weekly and MGM Grand’s President and COOMike Neubecker, for a celebratory ribbon cutting and proclamation ceremony.

Surrounded by Wet Republic staff and iconic Vegas showgirls, the executives and commissioner offered remarks speaking to the success of Wet Republic and its contribution to MGM Grand and the city.  Commissioner Weekly rounded off the ceremony by declaring today “Wet Republic DAY.” Let pool season start!
