Beat The Bear at The Annual Teddy Bear 5k Run Supporting Unitedhealthcare Children’s Foundation to be Held at Tivoli Village September 20, 2014
Hosted by the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation, the annual one-day Teddy Bear 5K Run raises money to provide medical grants to help pay for medical treatments, services or equipment not covered or fully covered by a family’s commercial insurance.
Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 to help pay for medical services and equipment such as speech therapy, surgeries, prescriptions and hearing aids.
Put on your running “blue suede” shoes and race around the track with their mascot, Oliver the Bear. The annual Teddy Bear 5K Run is open to the public and will include a family friendly event with fun and games for everyone to enjoy. Run solo or build a team but don’t wait to sign up because the price increases on Monday August 25, 2014!
