Bob Tallman WNFR Bowling Tournament to Benefit Speedway Children’s Charities Dec. 3

The Gold Coast Hotel & Casino will be the site of the fourth annual Bob Tallman Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Charity Bowling Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 3. The tournament will benefit the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities and the Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund.

Check-in will start at 11 a.m. with bowling from noon to 2 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to win many prizes, including the coveted Montana Silversmiths championship belt buckle.

Bob Tallman, the voice of professional rodeo and event chair, will be there to meet fans. WNFR participants and celebrities will bowl together, with one celebrity team member assigned to each lane. Celebrity bowlers include: PRCA bull fighter Cory Wall, tie-down roper Matt Shiozawa and Wayne Brooks, who won last year’s PRCA Announcer-of-the-Year Award.

Bowlers may save $15 by registering their four-person team before Nov. 18. The entry fee after Nov. 18 will be $150 and will include two games, shoe rental, a gift bag, a t-shirt and lunch. Individual bowlers are invited to take advantage of the $10 savings by registering before Nov. 18. The entry fee will be $45 after Nov. 18.

Making a difference in a child’s life is the focus of Speedway Children’s Charities. SCC strives to do this in collaboration with the non-profit organizations it supports nationwide. Individually, SCC’s local chapters identify the needs of children in their communities and award grants to organizations that address them. Last December, the Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities granted $255,000 to 44 local children’s causes during its annual grant distribution ceremony.

The Justin Cowboy Crisis Fund is a non-profit organization that provides need-based financial assistance to individuals injured through their participation in the sport of rodeo.
