Chris Trickle Father’s Day Doubleheader Saturday at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The annual Chris Trickle Father’s Day Weekend Special will take place Saturday night at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The night’s NASCAR Whelen All-American Series action will include twin 35-lap features for the NASCAR Super Late Models. Completing the bill will be the NASCAR Chargers, NASCAR Bombers, Legend Cars, Thunder Roadsters and Bandoleros.

Saturday’s race marks the return of popular veteran and past Bullring champion Chuck Trickle to the oval-track arena. Trickle will compete in a NASCAR Charger fielded by the H-Town Racing Team. The annual event is dedicated to Chuck’s late son Chris.

“Chuck has not participated in the event since 2009 and when we heard he might want to race, we were honored to have him join our team for the event.” said H-Town Racing member Tom Pfundstein. “It has been a community effort to get this car ready for Chuck to drive. Those helping in the effort include past Charger champion Phil Goodwin, who did all of the chassis set up. American Racing Supply provided a set of new tires. Parson’s Auto body put a fresh coat of paint on the car and M&M Graphics will be providing the graphics. It will be exciting, as well as an honor, to get Chuck back out on the track. It is the least we can do for a man who has dedicated himself to his family and the sport of auto racing in the Las Vegas Valley.”

Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. for this event. General admission parking always is free. The Bullring’s concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, including $1 hot dogs, $1 Coca-Cola products and $1 beer. Fans may save money by purchasing tickets in advance at the LVMS ticket office or by calling (800) 644-4444.

Stockyard spaces are $65 per space and are available by calling (702) 644-4444. Bring your ticket from a previous Bullring event and get $2 off at the gate the night of the event.
