Chris Trickle Father’s Day Doubleheader, USAC Midgets Saturday at LVMS

The Bullring, Las Vegas Motor Speedway’s NASCAR-sanctioned 3/8-mile asphalt oval, will present its annual Chris Trickle Father’s Day Doubleheader on Saturday night.

The evening of family fun will include twin 35-lap features for the MetroPCS Super Late Models and USAC Focus Midgets.

Spectator gates will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 6:30 p.m. The Bullring’s concession stand offers a family-friendly dollar menu, including $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 beer.

Spectator admission is $10 for adults and $8 for senior citizens and military personnel with ID. Kids ages 6-12 are only $5 and children 5 and under are free. The Bullring offers a Family 4-Pak (two adults and two children) for $26. The popular Stockyard drive-in viewing-tailgating area is $65 and includes four admission tickets. Stockyard passes are available for purchase by visiting or calling the LVMS Ticket Services Office at (702) 644-4444.

1 p.m. – Credential sales, pit parking open for all classes.
1:30 p.m. – Tech inspection opens.
2:30 p.m. – USAC Focus practice (30-minute exclusive session).
3 p.m. – MetroPCS Super Late Model practice.
3:15 p.m. – Thunder Roadster practice.
3:30 p.m. – Legends Cars practice.
3:45 p.m. – Bomber practice.
4 p.m. – Charger practice.
4:15 p.m. – USAC Focus Midget practice.
4:25 p.m. – MetroPCS Super Late Model practice.
4:35 p.m. – Thunder Roadster practice.
4:45 p.m. – Legends Cars practice.
4:55 p.m. – Bomber practice.
5 p.m. – Spectator Gates open.
5:05 p.m. – Charger practice.
5:20 p.m. – Drivers’ meeting.

5:35 p.m. Legends Cars Developmental qualifying (6 cars, 3 laps). USAC Focus Midget qualifying (6 cars, 3 laps). MetroPCS Super Late Model qualifying (5 cars, 3 laps). Thunder Roadster qualifying (6 cars, 3 laps). Legends Cars qualifying (6 cars, 3 laps). Bomber heat races. Charger heat races. Legends Cars Developmental feature (15 laps).

7 p.m. National anthem. USAC Focus Midgets heat races. Kids’ dance with Bullring mascot Pit Boss. First MetroPCS Super Late Model feature (35 laps) Second race of the K&N Filters Challenge. Thunder Roadster feature (20 laps). Bomber feature (20 laps). Charger feature (25 laps). Legends Cars feature (20 laps). USAC Focus Midget feature (30 laps).
