CSN Foundation Golf Classic Raises $80,000 and Commercial Roofers Win The Tournament

The 5th Annual CSN Foundation Golf Classic 2013 fundraiser held at The Revere Golf Club on Friday, May 31, raised $80,000 with net proceeds going to support programs and scholarships for the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Foundation

The golf tournament was won by Commercial Roofers with a four-man team that included Gary Jaramillo, Eric Fitzsimmons, Chuck Jaramillo and Don Barris. In total, 36 teams competed and second place was won by Trew Financial Benefits with Adam Craig, Brennan Dew, Toby Meacham and Todd Shanholtzer playing.

Monies were raised from the entry fees, raffle tickets and a live auction.

The CSN Foundation is a non-profit organization led by community volunteers. The Foundation is dedicated to providing resources to support students and programs at the College of Southern Nevada. Founded in 1982, the CSN Foundation has provided donations of cash and equipment to build classrooms, laboratories, auditoriums and academic buildings.

The College of Southern Nevada (www.csn.edu) is the state’s largest and most ethnically diverse politically-funded higher education institution. CSN offers more than 200 degree and certificate options in more than 130 areas of study, including 25 degree and certificate programs available entirely online.
