Dale Earnhardt Foundation Celebrity Poker Tournament

The Stratosphere once again teams up with the Dale Earnhardt Foundation to present the 2nd Annual Dale Earnhardt Foundation Poker Tournament.

Fans will pay an entry fee to play in the tournament with the drivers. 1st round will be about 1 hour, 2nd round will be about an hour. Both fans and drivers play 1 round and then the fans that win each table progress to the final round for prizes. One NASCAR Driver or Celebrity will advance on to the final table and may donate their winnings to their favorite charity.

Fan entry fees will go to the foundation. Drivers do not pay an entry fee.  Some fans will not want to play in the tournament but will pay for a wristband at the door to get autographs from the drivers who are not playing in that round.

Kerry Earnhardt will host the tournament for his Dad’s foundation.  A minimum of $10,000 will be donated to the Dale Earnhardt Foundation to “Continue The Legend” through charitable programs that sustain Dale’s lifelong commitment to Children, Education and Environmental/Wildlife Preservation.

Date: March 2, 2011

Time: Media Event with Drivers & Celebrities starts at 3 pm and the Poker Event starts at 4 pm
