District Tavern Group Welcomes Football Fans for ‘The Big Game’ Feb. 6

The end of the football season is like a holiday for many sports fans, and to celebrate, the District Tavern Group will host a party to watch “the Big Game” beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6.

The party spans District Tavern Group’s three restaurants at The District at Green Valley Ranch – Al’s Garage, Balboa Pizza and, the newest addition, Presidio – and wristbands allow party goers to hop between the three locations. Cost is $50 plus tax and gratuity and includes bottomless plates of hot dogs, hamburgers, barbecue chicken, baked beans and corn on the cob with Miller Light and soda to drink.

Games and giveaways will keep the action moving and large screen televisions in each of the locations ensure no fan will miss any key plays, calls or touchdowns. The party also marks the end of the 2010 Harley Davidson Giveaway contest offered at District Tavern Group’s restaurants from September 2010 to Game Day. One lucky football fan will ride away from the party on the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight that has been on display at Al’s Garage throughout the promotion. To win the motorcycle, people must have been gaming or purchasing Miller products during NFL games.

In 2005, Las Vegas native Pete Kaufman, while still working at the Bellagio as a senior executive of casino marketing, opened Balboa Pizza with childhood friends Frank Toti, Jr. and Jeff and Jonathan Fine. The quartet built on their initial investment with Al’s Garage and eventually established District Tavern Group to serve as the restaurants’ umbrella organization. In 2010 District Tavern Group opened Presidio. District Tavern Group’s three locations within The District all offer 24-hour food, fun, drinks and fair gaming and cater to local players and industry workers.
