Game tickets for the March 30 season opener vs. the San Jose SaberCats go on sale today, March 1 at 10:00 a.m.

Vince Neil, Las Vegas local and lead singer of the legendary rock band Motley Crüe, is an owner of the Outlaws. The team belongs to the AFL National Conference West Division. Aaron Garcia, decorated AFL quarterback with 19 years of experience on the field, is the Outlaws head coach. Armed with quarterbacks J.J. Ratterink and Sean Brackett along with recent signee and all-star AFL wide receiver Tysson Poots, the Outlaws plan to devastate the SaberCats in their first ever game Monday, March 30.

“There’s so much excitement for this first game, I can’t wait to see what the Outlaws can do,” said Garcia. “Starting the season against the SaberCats will be a good challenge. They attract the top players and they’re always in the play-offs. This game will tell us where we stand, but we spent a lot of time putting the right team together and getting the right coaching staff in place, so I know we can play at their level. On Monday, March 30, we are going to do things the Outlaw way. We hope fans will join us in celebrating this team and the great game of arena football.”

With over 18 seasons of play, the SaberCats are considered one of the Arena Football League’s most successful franchises. The SaberCats have a lifetime regular season record of 18196 (winning 65% of games played). Their postseeason record currently stands at 1511. They are the 2014 Pacific Division Natioonal Champions (now a member of the National Conference West Division), and with their storied history and extensive experience, pose a serious threat to the Outlaws hopes for victory.

In September 2014, it was announced that the Outlaws would bring arena football back to Las Vegas. Since then, the team has been building its roster, securing national television deals and pursuing local business sponsors including Dollar Loan Center. The team is actively seeking additional sponsors as a result of sports giant ESPN and CBS Sports signing on for online and television broadcasts.

On a break from Motley Crüe’s world tour, Vince Neil confirmed he could attend the first game. “I can’t wait to cheer for the Las Vegas Outlaws and welcome all the fans to the first of many arena football games to come,” he said.
