What: More than 40,000 runners from all 50 states and 83 countries will hit the pavement next weekend at the GEICO Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon & ½ Marathon. The Las Vegas Marathon is one of the oldest marathons in the United States, having been run since 1967, and will celebrate 50 years running in 2016.

Thursday, November 10
2:30 pm – Media Kickoff
Las Vegas Convention Center, Hall S1
3150 Paradise Rd

Race officials kick off marathon weekend, with press credentials and race day parking passes available as the expo opens where all runners pick up their race number.

Friday, November 11
11:00 am – Health & Fitness Expo
Las Vegas Convention Center, Hall S1
3150 Paradise Rd

Free and open to the public, the expo features the latest in running technology, nutrition, fitness apparel and interactive displays.

Saturday, November 12
6:00 pm – Brooks Rock ‘n’ Roll 5k
Las Vegas Festival Grounds
2594 S Las Vegas Blvd (across from SLS)

The two-day running party gets started on Saturday night with more than 9,000 runners participating in the Brooks Rock ‘n’ Roll 5K presented by SLS Las Vegas.

Sunday, November 13
Start Line – Las Vegas Village
(across from Mandalay Bay and Luxor)

  • 3:00 pm – Snoop Dogg Headliner Concert
  • 4:30 pm – Marathon & ½ Marathon Start
  • 5:30 pm – Run Thru Wedding at The Park
  • 6:30 pm – Finish Line on Las Vegas Blvd.
