Inaugural Fantasy Sports Combine Delivered Ultimate Fantasy Sports Experience at Wynn Las Vegas
Last weekend (July 17–18), the first ever Fantasy Sports Combine brought together the most elite collection of fantasy experts for the experience of a lifetime for fantasy sports enthusiasts inside Wynn Las Vegas and Encore (Pictured: Matt Iseman, Adam Schefter, Matthew Berry).
During the inaugural event, sponsored by T-Mobile, DraftKings and Cîroc, attendees learned game-changing insights and strategies on how to win daily, weekly and season-long leagues.
The event kicked off on Friday, July 17 with a fundraising party benefiting After-School All-Stars Las Vegas inside Tryst Nightclub. The evening raised money for the local nonprofit, which provides comprehensive after-school programs that keep children safe and help them succeed in school and life. Guests included Elaine Wynn, Larry Mizel, Norm Brownstein, and Steven Farber.
Saturday’s sessions began with a keynote from ESPN’s “NFL Insider” Adam Schefter and ESPN’s Senior Fantasy Analyst Matthew Berry discussing the latest news, rumors and tips from insider sources. Additional highlights from the Combine included an interactive film breakdown with championship coach Mike Shanahan, a lunch session featuring stories from Terrell Davis and a concluding panel discussion providing tangible recommendations and bold predictions for the 2015 fantasy season.
Other notable attendees at the inaugural Fantasy Sports Combine included John Hansen of DirecTV and Sirius XM; Yahoo Sport’s Brad Evans; world-class athletes Daunte Culpepper, Matt Leinart, Todd Heap, Brandon Jacobs, Kyle Orton and Brandon Stokley; sports broadcasters Bonnie Bernstein, David Norrie and Kaylee Hartung; host of American Ninja Warrior Matt Iseman; Liz Loza, the most followed, discussed, and respected female fantasy football expert in the blogosphere; Team DraftKings Experts Drew Dinkmeyer, Peter Jennings and Al Zeidenfeld; and many more.
Following the closing keynote, it was announced that Fantasy Sports Combine will return to Wynn Las Vegas and Encore for its second year July 22-23, 2016.
