The Las Vegas Bowl
will positively showcase our city –The Entertainment Capital of the World – To viewers across the nation while also generating tourism and developing community pride. The Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl is more than just a game and is part of the community year-round. 

The Huddle, is a group of 40 women from the Las Vegas Valley, who have joined together to support the Las Vegas Bowl. They are focused on showcasing the city of Las Vegas and providing memorable experiences for our participating student-athletes, staff and fans while serving as valued partners in the community through the celebration of college football.

Today is making a difference day,  the Las Vegas Bowl Huddle has assisted with non-profits creating charitable impact, such as Opportunity Village and After School All-Stars, and helped with the following  community outreach:

Extra Yard for Teachers – The Las Vegas Bowl staff and members of the Huddle stopped by CP Squires Elementary School to surprise Mrs. Miller and her 4th-grade class. Youth Ambassadors Program – All youth football teams valley-wide get to nominate four youth players that are going above and beyond off the field as well – classroom, sportsmanship, etc. These 200+ players will be a part of Las Vegas Bowl week in a very  special way.

Goodie 2 Shoes –  Over 400 children get to shop through the Goodie Two Shoes trailer and pick out brand new athletic shoes.
Military Warriors Support Foundation – The Las Vegas Bowl partnered with the Military Warriors Support Foundation to provide one wounded warrior a home and will be honored on the field at the game with a key to their new home.

The Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl and National Youth Sports (NYS) Nevada also teamed up to present a unique event that saw hundreds of local players (ages 6 – 13) come together in the name of football and take part in position-specific drills.

“The Las Vegas Bowl is proud to host community outreach initiatives with the LVB Huddle and grateful to our generous community partners, making the Las Vegas Bowl, more than just a game.” said Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl Executive Director John Saccenti.

Additionally, the Las Vegas Bowl The Dignity Health “Humankindess” MVP is for community members to whom have the bright student-athlete who goes above and beyond on and OFF the field, deserving a $1500 scholarship opportunity.

The 28th Mitsubishi Motors Las Vegas Bowl will be played Saturday, Dec. 21, at 4:30 p.m. PT (7:30 p.m. ET) at Sam Boyd Stadium. The game will be televised nationally during primetime on ABC, featuring the top choice from the Mountain West against a team from the Pac-12 Conference.

Fans who purchase tickets to this year’s game will join the priority list for the 2020 Las Vegas Bowl, earning first rights to locations inside the new $1.9 billion Allegiant Stadium currently under construction.
