Las Vegas Families Invited to Youth Sports Open House at Las Vegas Sports Park

On Sunday, April 26, Las Vegas Indoor Soccer will be hosting an open house showcasing the various sports programs available to youth aged 18 months to 13 years old. The event will run from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with attendees getting the chance to scout out the various classes and participate free-of-charge.

Programs to be showcased include:

Lil’ Kickers – This high energy signature program is age-appropriate, teaching technically sound soccer skills to help children reach their developmental milestones. Classes focus on building strong physical, intellectual and emotional foundations that will help children be successful on and off the soccer field. Ages 18 months to 9 years.

Lil’ Lacrosse – As one of the fastest growing sports in Nevada, the Lil’ Lacrosse program teaches basic skills and prepares players, ages 6 to 12 for game-time situations.

Lil’ Sluggers (T-ball) – This program introduces children ages 2 to 5 to the game of baseball, working on important baseball skills such as throwing, catching, hitting and base running.

Dodge Ball – This sport isn’t just for the school playground anymore! Filled with non-stop action for children ages 7 to 13 this program includes playing 15 different versions of the game.

Mini Hoops – Designed for ages 3 to 10, children learn basic, intermediate and advanced skills on a private, customized court.

Tennis Bees – Tennis Bees is designed for kids ages 3 to 10 to teach the basics of tennis, learning in the climate controlled comfort of an indoor field.

The early summer session for all six programs runs from May 4 to July 12 and classes are always offered as 10-week sessions at a cost of $120 each. For those that sign up at the Lil’ Sports Open House, complimentary t-shirts will be given. To add to the fun, free bouncy house admission is offered and a balloon artist will be on-site. And don’t forget the food! Complimentary popcorn will be available at the snack bar.
